ABOUT GABY NAGEL

Gaby was first introduced to the Native American-style flute at age 10 after finding the wooden instrument at a local event in Fayetteville, AR. That fateful night led her to meet her flute instructor and after a short time, it was clear that Gaby was a natural and had God-given talent for the flute. She has competed in and won several competitions around the U.S. - one of the largest and most prominent being the Musical Echoes Flute Players competition in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida where she was the first female and youngest competitor to win.

Having released two CDs already, Native Dreams and Wind Moon, Gaby’s plans are to continue to see where this instrument and music takes her. She is expanding her musical horizons by learning to play the piano and guitar, as well. “Playing the flute, I feel like I am honoring my ancestors…” says Gaby.

Native Dreams and Wind Moon are available in MONAH's gift shop. Gaby is available for autographs.
